And its three successive generations
It is at the age of 20, just after the war, that Francis and Célestine SORRE started in 1947, in La Fresnais, a dual activity, farming and cider production. They settled permanently in 1952 in PLERGUER to develop these activities. At that time, deliveries were made on horseback. The business expanded until 1992.
In 1992, after several years at the Cidrerie alongside her parents, their youngest daughter, Marinette, decides with her husband Marcel CHAPRON to take over. They choose to stop the farming activity to focus solely on cider production. This allows them to refine their expertise and elevate Cidrerie Sorre among the most recognized in the profession.
In 2011, another turning point is taken. The two youngest children of Marcel and Marinette decide to take over the family cider house. Both immersed in it since their early childhood, then employees for several years within it, they have no difficulty developing the legacy of their ancestors. Aurélie handles all administrative tasks and focuses on developing retail sales, thanks to the new store adjacent to the cider house. After gaining experience with the Paris Fire Brigade, Mickaël energetically manages the entire process, from pressing the apples to bottling, including working the juice in the cellar.
